Stability of a cubic functional equation on groups

In this note we will find out the general solution and investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability for the cubic functional equation $f(3x+y)+f(3x-y) =3f(x+y)+3f(x-y)+48f(x)$ on abelian groups.
