It is known that a projective geometry $PG(n-1,q)$ is upper homogeneous, has a modular copoint, and its characteristic polynomial is $(\lambda - 1)(\lambda - q)(\lambda - q^2) \dots (\lambda - q^{n-1})$. We prove the converse of the above statement.
